POSE, an aerospace consultancy based in Abu Dhabi, UAE, approached the market with a clear problem: aviation branding relies on inherited codes, navy palettes, stock imagery, generic authority that says nothing about precision or performance.
We built the identity around the compass rose, the original instrument pilots trusted for position and bearing before radar or GPS existed. Its points hold the four coordinates that give the brand its name: Performance, Optimization, Systems, Engineering.
The color system follows the same logic used across aviation instrumentation. Acid green functions as the indicator light, the signal that confirms a system is working, borrowed directly from cockpit and runway signage. Chrome represents the aircraft’s real surface, engineered metal with nothing decorative behind it.
Typography reinforces the same structure. A regular face handles explanatory text. A stencil face, built for parts and fuselages, carries headlines and the wordmark. A monospace face aligns data, coordinates, specs, instrument readouts. Even the frame follows the same logic: the rounded corners bordering every image echo the shape of a fuselage window, the view that defines the experience of flight.
The result is a system with no arbitrary decisions: every material, color, shape and typeface already existed in the working language of aviation. POSE translated that language into a unique, forward-thinking identity within the sector, applied consistently across motion, digital systems, and physical touchpoints.
